Rod only wanted to become one thing while growing up: a stuntman like his father. Now, together with his crew: Kevin, Dave and Rico, he's living the dream on his moped. But if there's one thing that Rod wants as much as being a super stuntman, that's to kick his step-dad Frank's ass and prove to him he's a man.

So, when he finds out that Frank needs 50 thousand bucks for a heart transplant, he decides to put his stunt skills to use and raise the money himself. So that when Frank gets well, Rod can kick his ass.
His idea is to do one big bike jump over 15 buses. He starts preparing his body, mind, and karate moves, all the while trying to charm his childhood friend Denise. Kevin makes a movie starring Rod to raise money, but everyone laughs at Rod's failed stunts. His mom also tells him that his real dad wasn't really a stuntman. Depressed, he gives up his dream. His buddy Dave convinces him not to quit, and Kevin tells him that a radio station will sponsor the event.
Finally the big day arrives. His crew prepares some special gear, and Denise gives him the courage he needs. He gives it all he's got, and launches into the air. He manages to clear the buses, but flies off his bike and crash lands. Unconscious, he has a weird vision featuring literally a food fight. When he wakes up, he struggles to stand on his feet as the crowd cheers. On the scoreboard, the donations total reaches the magic number: $50,000.
Some time later, Rod is ready to challenge Frank once again. They go at it, and this time Rod rises up to the challenge. Manliness achieved.
Best part of story, including ending:
I liked the goofiness of the story, including the way it's filmed and scored. There's really no cynicism in this film, and all the surreal scenes are funny.
Best scene in story:
The spontaneous street riot scene. Just unexpected and hilarious, with Danny McBride as Rico holding his TV out of nowhere.
Opinion about the main character:
Rod probably does more towards living his dream than the majority of people out there. He also does a great dance routine and can recognize 100 different jelly bean flavors, so he has that going for him.
