This is a twist on the classic, "Little Mermaid," that involves a love triangle between the mermaid, the prince and the princess. This is an erotic version of a fairy tale that includes a love triangle. This story explores the lives of two beautiful princesses going after the same prince. Princess Lenia is a mermaid and lives under the sea. She rescues Prince Christopher, who almost drowned at sea, delivering him along the sea bank. From her position at the convent above, Princess Margrethe witnesses this exotic creature and man. When Princess Margrethe arrives on the sea bank Princess Lenia, the beautiful mermaid is gone and Margrethe helps Christopher.

During his recovery at the convent, Margrethe learns that Christopher is the son of her father's enemy. The two kingdoms have been at war for a very long time and Princess Margrethe wants to unite the kingdoms. She cannot help falling in love with the prince that is also falling for her. She believes that if they are together, they can finally bring the kingdoms together. The only problem is that Christopher cannot forget the beautiful mermaid, Princess Lenia. When he and Margrethe go back to his kingdom in preparation for marriage, the strangest thing happens. Princess Lenia washes ashore.
The mermaid princess has never forgotten the prince and even gave up her tongue in exchange for a pair of human legs. Lenia deserts her family and her life in the sea for a chance at love with Christopher. Inside the palace walls, Prince Christopher and his two princesses become involved in a love triangle that is full of eroticism. Surprisingly, Princess Margrethe and Princess Lenia feel a great affinity for one another, without any of the contention that might be expected in this kind of relationship. But still, they each want Christopher's love and in the end, there lives will change forever.

loved the fairy tale elements of this story that were weaved throughout. It is a modern version of the old tale but it embodies just as much magic.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when Christopher recovers and goes out to the courtyard where Margrethe joins him. The scene is magical with the cold ice and snow painting a wondrous place for the reader.
Opinion about the main character:
What I loved about Lenia and Margrethe was that they were equally as good-natured and equally as vulnerable to their love for the prince. They were in love with the same man but it did not sour their personality in any way. If anything they bonded because of it.
