At this time, Agatha has no interest in the meeting or anything concerned with Mr. Sunday and his authority to regulate the people in Carsley from decorating their village. The meeting consists of this most active group of ladies to include Miss Simms, an unmarried mother that dressed very sexy, the other vicar's wife Penelope Timson, Miriam Courtney the rich widow, Mrs. Bloxby with Agatha, and all the other ladies. While in this freezing vicarage, of which Mr. Sunday banned using the fireplace, they were talking about these problems when Miss Simms and Miriam left to get some alcohol. Soon after Mr. Sunday is found murdered while these women left the vicarage. The group of ladies had the police interrogate each one of them to find out what happened to Mr. Sunday. He was despised by many people, which would be hard to find the murderer.
At Agatha's detective agency, she is hired my Miriam after which she is visited by her friend Charles Fraith that was once her love, which they all left the office to start investigating possible suspects. They came across various villagers who were affected by Mr. Sunday's tough regulations. Agatha's detective work had to find the murderer or Mariam, her client would by the main suspect after she was heard threatening Mr. Sunday. The information Agatha and her detective agency came upon all showed how horrible Mr. Sunday was and how any of the villagers could have killed him even Mrs. Bloxby's husband Alf Bloxby's, the vicar of Carsley was also heard threatening him. With all of Agatha's agency on the murder case, the murderer would be flushed out. Until
Agatha solves this murder case, the killing after Mr. Sunday will continue as they get closer to finding the murderer. This puts some of Agatha's employees closer to solving this murder case with the help of her friend Charles. With all of Agatha's previous murder cases bring danger to all who are involved in the investing. Soon after the murderer is discovered, the murderer was an unexpected pair who fed and eventually apprehended. This leaves Christmas for Agatha to celebrate the holiday she had no interest in after her horrible vacation experience.
Best part of story, including ending: I liked how she is not obsessed with her husband like she has been in the past.

Best scene in story: I liked the seen where Agatha goes to the bathroom because she says she is constipated and she discovered the weapon. She quickly calls the police to let them know they has the murder weapon.

Opinion about the main character: Agatha seemed a little sad in this book.
