I have read many of Pateicia's books and I am hooked. I also find her a fascinating person, and very thorough and sensitive.
She has courage and is highly educated and is not ashamed of coming out as being gay. I admire her considerably and would love to meet her.

Did you know, in the book "The Letters of Wyndham Lewis" the famed writer and painter Lewis, who knew Sickert, states that Sickert often dressed up AS A POLICEMAN! Not found in Cornwell's book, maybe she missed that one.

Presently on pg. 345 and so far am disappointed in this novel and it appears to be trying to include even the kitchen sink. The author's first books were extremely enjoyable and very good to read, but this one is not. It has been awhile since I read an earlier novel, but if memory serves me correctly it appeared to be in somewhat the same manner. Since her books are selling very well it appears that I am in the minority on this thought. So be it.
