of all books which i have read in all genres and whatsoever this is definetivly the best book ever. also, i have read the second book of this series and i was a bit disappointed, not because it was a bad story or written so much different, just the following book takes place 13 years later. i wanted to read more about olivia and jai after they found each other again.

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say I have read thousands of books in my life. I do not restrict myself to only a few genres. I enjoy almost everything. Olivia and Jai is hands down the best book of any kind I have ever read.

Is there a 2nd to olivia and jai. I would have liked to know what happen on later in their lives. it was a wonderful and pleasant read.

I find Ms. Ryman is pretty popular in Germany. She wrote in both English and German or it's solely a translation from English to German of her works?

Rebecca Ryman's first book, Olivia and Jai, was selected by the Literary Guild/Doubleday Book Club and has been published in 13 countries. She wrote under a pseudonym and died last year in Kolkata. There is no way to know her age but there can be no doubt that her death has brought a creative career to an early end. She was a masterly writer and a compelling raconteur as is evident in her two novels. She put historical events to good use, transporting the reader to the chaos that prevailed during the times she wrote about with an ease that can only be envied, after first being admired.
