Samantha Jellicoe, retired thief and current security specialist, was getting restless about not breaking and entering and stealing anything from the wealthy. Thanks to her lover, Richard Addison's influence, she kept herself in the good side. But one evening during an auction at the Sotheby's, she saw her dad, whom she thought to have died in prison three years ago. Right then and there she knew that her dad was planning to steal something and that something happened to be a painting her lover bidded and won. Anticipating her father's move, she had the painting brought over to their New York apartment immediately to secure it. Wanting to know her father's reason for being there, Sam made appointment with him that same night. Unfortunately, her father tricked her and stole the painting from their house while she was waiting for him to show up at their meeting place. Cops showed up immediately and they suspected her of stealing the painting for she had Martin Jellicoe, a famous thief, as her dad. With Rick's help she got out off handcuffs and Sam started her own investigation in finding the painting and wanting to know her dad's involvement. Her dad met with her and told her he works for Interpol and was undercover for a crew of thieves who wanted to hit on the wealthy people in New York. After their meeting, Sam was approached by the leader of the said crew, Nicholas, who told her that if she told anyone of them, she, her father and her lover would die. To ensure Sam's total silence, he tested her by telling her to rob from someone elite. Wanting to protect her family and lover, Sam did as he told and after the test, Nicholas told her their big case that was robbing the Metropolitan of Arts Museum. Sam was horrified but there was no turning back for her because her family's lives are on the line. Hatching a plan to absolve herself from the thievery while protecting her dad and making a trap for Nicholas, Sam confided to the NY police. But catching Nicholas and his crew was not the end of it. She needed to catch the person who commissioned Nicholas to steal those valuables without endangering herself and her family.
