Tory Bodeen is coming back to her hometown after running from it following the death of her closest friend, Hope Lavell. She now returns to town a businesswoman, who has shut down all of her feelings and trusts no one but herself. And then she is reunited with Cade Lavelle, Hope's older brother. Both of them were shattered the day Hope died but neither of them can rest till they know what killed Hope.
