Sarah's mother died from cancer, she doesn't get on well with her father, and her son is now living with her father on Elk Island. Friends arrange for Sarah to take a plane ride for her birthday and she meets Will Burke, a pilot. He is divorced, his only son drowned and his daughter constantly changes her first name. Together, Will and Sarah deal with their family problems and their growing love for each other. A good read.
