Creegan Book Summary and Study Guide
Creegan, Hal's nemesis who we learn killed Hal's parents, launches a surprise raid into their base in order to steal Mauser. They want to find out where Voice is and believe they can do so by probing Mauser's memory banks.
Creegan wears heavy makeup and looks like the Joker from batman; his assistants are wearing outfits that vaguely make them look like insects. Creegan steals Mauser (well, his head, anyway) and uses a flying thing to try and kill Hal but fails.
Hal and Sarge trace Creegan to his base but when they go to attack, Creegan makes a horrible noise come out of her Voice microphone which incapacitates Hal. This forces Cleo to perform brain surgery to remove the microphone while Sarge holds off the insect henchmen.
Once Cleo completes the surgery, a suddenly recovered Hal and Sarge attack Creegan's stronghold and recover Mauser's head, quickly reattaching it to the rest of his body. Creegan escapes, only to return in a later episode.
