Cybernetica Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Cybernetica

In the near future, humans are mentally influenced by a brain-to-computer interface called SUBLIMATION. During a series of wars between governments and corporate superpowers called The Encryption Wars, it is the rise of sublimation from the city of Cybernetica that grounds the conflict to a halt and brings about a dystopian but peaceful society of high-functioning control. But in the 35 years since the end of the Encryption Wars, a growing number of humans begin to develop an immunity (known as blindsight) to the effects of sublimation and have become free-thinkers and society's outcasts.
