Early Graves Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Early Graves

Joseph Hansen has created a successful series in which he features Dave Brandstetter.

This time, Brandstetter is involved with “the Knifer in the Dark”--and this villain's victims
are exclusively young men, homosexuals, who are dying of AIDS. This is a fast-paced
West Coast novel . In “Early Graves,” Hansen's series maintains its edginess, its
excitement, as the author relies on modern themes and situations to carry his narratives.
“Fast money” and “risky deals” keep Brandstetter on his toes, as he doggedly hunts down
this killer. Hansen sets us up for quite an exciting ending, to say the least (and not to give
away the conclusion!)
