Forgivin' Ain't Forgettin' Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Forgivin' Ain't Forgettin'

Schoolteacher Cassidy Beckett has been living life in the shadows ever since she experienced an out of wedlock pregnancy years earlier. Rather than deal with the pain of her giving her son up for adoption, Cassidy has buried herself in her work. Trevor Morgan is still reeling from the loss of his beloved wife, Brenda. Raising his two daughters by himself is a major task, one that has Trevor questioning his past actions on the night his wife passed away. Trevor's pre-teen daughter Brittney has never forgiven her father for disappearing the night their mother passed away so that he could mourn in private. Rather than mourn with his two daughters, Trevor fled to lick his own wounds. When a fire destroys Trevor's kitchen, Cassidy's kindly Aunt Odessa takes Trevor and his children into her home. Problem is, Cassidy lives with her Aunt Odessa and isn't too crazy about sharing her home with the sexy widower and his two children. Things start out rocky when Trevor walks in on Cassidy in the bathroom and catches a glimpse of her undressed. But as Cassidy spends more time around Trevor, she begins to realize that he is a deep man with a lot of love in his heart. As Cassidy and Trevor's relationship deepens, Cassidy's secret comes hurtling out of the closet, threatening to ruin her newfound relationship with Trevor and send her spiraling into a depression.
