This book is a collection of memoirs gathered from a wide range of experiences over the last half of a century growing up and living in Northern New Jersey. The author drags the reader through his high school life during the Vietnam Conflict, which includes his self-indulgances, attempt at stardom and his employment calamities. Even though the motive is to tell his tale, he inadvertently paints a vivid picture of the era. As he ages, and attempts to mature, he is faced with issues of parenting, marriage, illness and financial challenges. As he put it, "To those of us who lived through those times it is memories and to those who are younger it is important history."
