Dance is Blair Simpson's whole life and she is not happy when an injury forces her to take some time off. Leaving NYC she heads up to a small town to be near a dear friend of hers who had given up dancing to have a family. From Blair's first encounter with her landlord Sean Garrett the sexual sparks fly. Blair knows she must resist though, she will only be there for six months and then she is returning to her real life, dancing.

Sean is not willing to take no for an answer and he persues Blair persistently. He helps her to get more involved with the people in town hoping she will realize that she would like to stay. When she is asked by her friend to set up a dance studio while she is there Sean remodels a building he owns to make a dance studio for her. When she finally mates with him, Sean is totally shocked to find out she is still a virgin. Believing that she will stay with him Sean is shocked when she jumps at a chance to return to NYC for an audition. When she is not picked even though she felt her audition was perfect Blair returns to her friend for comfort. An accident involving her friend's son who had been helping Sean sends Blair running to help him and results in her blowing her knee again.
Will she realize that there really is something more important than dance? Sean hopes so.
