Highwater Parts I & II Book Summary and Study Guide
The trio get an underwater signal and go and check it out using the sub. Yes, they have a sub. But they get attacked underwater and things look grim until "Aqua man", as Cleo calls him, fixes things and steers them to safety to the underwater city.
The underwater city consists of survivors who want no contact with the underground city. They are led by Aquaman and the more sinister Aquaman's brother. They settle down in their accomodations, but Cleo gets visions of her mom.
She follows those visions to a room containing a Bailey, and it's there they learn that these people have been stealing technology from the trapped Bailey, and have extracted a large bomb that they plan to use to destroy the underground city. Sarge gets shot when she resists, and is only healed when the Bailey uses its healing light on her.
Aquaman joins them in their fight to stop his evil brother from exploding the bomb. After the obligatory laser fight and trampoline flips, they save the day again. They get some new uniforms out of the bargain, too.
