Mrs. Miracle Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Mrs. Miracle

When Seth Webster's latest housekeeper quits, due to the behavior and habits of himself and his young twin boys, he's at his wits end. Christmas is coming soon, and the house is a mess. Then Mrs. Merkle, called Mrs. Miracle by the kids, comes and begins to straighten everything out, including other people's lives. Seth starts a relationship with Reba, the owner of a travel agency and a woman he kept on finding excuses to see. In order for their relationship to work, however, both have to overcome the past. Seth still refuses to play the piano, which he gave up after his wife died four years ago, and Reba still won't forgive her sister for ruining her wedding by sleeping with her (Reba's) fiance four years ago. Mrs. Miracle helps them in small ways, as she also helps Seth's parents-in-law figure out that they still love each other.
