The author starts the book by giving background on sororites and how they are run. It goes through the pledging system an how the girls are choosen. Girls are usually picked only if the other sisters like them. Based off looks, and if they are wearing the right clothing. For the pledges that the author follows they are often discriminated against and forced to do unpleasent activites against their will. This book goes inside what is like to be one of them.
Often times the girls would go out paartying and "pre-gameing" a term used for drinking before the actual party. They experience drugs and piercing. They go on dates and cause fights. There is lots of drama and boyfriend troubles.
