Princess Annie Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Princess Annie

Annie Trevarren has loved Prince Rafael St. James from afar for years. When Annie is invited by her best friend Phaedra St. James to travel abroad from America to Bavia, where the royal family resides, Annie imagines that her trip will be heavenly. Things get off to a rocky start when Annie impetuously climbs onto the castle roof, forcing the Crown Prince himself to risk his life to rescue her. Although Rafael is a brooding man, Annie's antics start to melt his heart. Rafael is mourning the loss of his fiancee, Georgiana, who was killed saving his life during an assassination attempt. When Phaedra balks at her impending arranged wedding to Chase Haslett and Prince Raphael's best friend Barrett declares his love for Phaedra, life in the castle becomes tumultuous. When Prince Raphael's former mistress Felicia moves into the castle and Bavian peasants start a rebellion, the monarchy is thrown into chaos. As chaos reigns at St. James Keep, Annie and Rafael start their loving.
