Princess In Waiting Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Princess In Waiting

In this fourth installment of the Princess Diaries series, Princess Mia is adjusting to being a princess. Mia is spending her winter school break in Genovia while her friends and boyfriend are hanging out in cool places like Aspen or Florida. Mia is forced to adhere to a royal daily schedule, attend parliament sessions and learn royal protocol. Due to Mia's brash nature she meets with a lot of disapproval when she speaks out regarding issues such as pollution and the installation of parking meters. Throughout her trip Mia misses her boyfriend Michael and fears that he has found another girlfriend to replace her. As winter break ends and Mia heads home, she is faced with a huge dating dilemma. How does she tell Michael that she's cancelling their highly anticipated first date to attend a royal ball?
