Returning Lost Love Book Review Summary

Detailed Plot Synopsis of Returning Lost Love

To the character, Gabi, in "Returning Lost Loves", love is a game. She enters into an affair with the white-haired Hezi whom she meets in her office, solely on the basis of physical attraction. She agrees to the rules he establishes, meeting him in an apartment at his command, attracted to the danger in the relationship, and viewing the affair as a challenge.
Next door to Gabi lives the unattractive Aviram, who hears her orgasmic screams while she is making love , and becomes infatuated with her.
After Hezi deserts Gabi, Aviram schemes to infiltrate the apartment and rapes her, and then is doomed to a future where the days stretch forward like a barren desert. In the "whole, happy, hedonistic city" of Tel Aviv, all he sees is "misery, old age, and illness and filth."
