Marcus informs Maggie that the Foundation needs her to heal management consultant Julian McDonald who is still mourning the deaths of his wife and their young child in a Colorado plane crash nine years ago. Though she demands to know why, Marcus fails to respond. Still she goes on the mission only to find he heals her loneliness as much as she teaches him that he still has the capacity to love others.
