Chantel O'Hurley is an actress in L.A., when she starts receiving calls from a crazed fan she calls her agent Matt Burns. Matt suggests that they go to the police, but Chantel refuses, she doesn't want any kind of negative publicity. So the second option is to call a private investigator, one that Matt is a friend with, Quinn Doran. Quinn reads the letters that Chantel has received and decides to help her out by placing guards outside, and for her to have twenty four hour bodyguard. That bodyguard being Quinn, he moves in to the house so that she will never be alone.

Quinn however is having a harder time protecting Chantel from himself then from whoever is sending the letters to her. While the two of them are in New York for Chantel's sister's wedding she receives flowers from her mysterious admirer. Quinn is able to track down the florist shop that had sent the flowers, and was able to get a few details from the owner.
Upon returning to L.A. Quinn discloses to Chantel whom he thinks is bothering her. When Quinn goes to talk to the suspect about it, the real threat is trying to burn down Chantel in her own house with her inside it. Now Quinn has to try to save her and let her know how he feels about her.

Chantel O'Hurley has always dreamed of being a star, and now she is. While working on her newest movie, she begins to receive threatening letters and phone calls from a stalker. In desperation she hires Quinn Doran, a former spy and current body guard and security firm owner. Quinn begins to search out her stalker, but his biggest problems lies in Chantel.

Even though they do not get along at all at first, Quinn and Chantel fall in love. They fight the attraction but it finally breaks them down. Quinn believes that Matt, Chantel's manager, has become her stalker, but at the last minute he learns who the stalker really is. When he gets back to Chantel's mansion, the pool house is on fire and she is inside. Will he be able to save her and bring her stalker to justice?
