Throughout a series of failed romances, Jason runs into Naomi from time to time, until one day he gets a heart wrenching phone call. Naomi is dying of cancer. Jason moves to take care of her in her final days, and just at the end of her life, Naomi tells him to go on a trip, relax, and find love. Jason goes to Nova Scotia, where he meets a charming woman that he falls in love with. He returns and Naomi passes on. He continues to correspond with his Canadian love until several deaths put him into a deep depression. By the time he recovers and moves to Nova Scotia to be with the woman he loves, he finds that she is engaged to another. He charters a plane after the wedding to fly back to the Carribean, scheduled to fly through the Bermuda Triangle. On his trip is his abducted by aliens who manage to convince him of the values of living before they return him to the planet.
