The author explains various sources of bad attitudes and negativity toward the workplace as if the manager's understanding of negativity will allow the manager to counteract bad attitudes and prevent them. With the goal of increased productivity, the author describes poor performance in employees and outlines a few strategies for turning around poor performance and motivating employees.
