Miriam Blaylock is a vampire. She is close to being the last existing vampire because Paul Ward is doing his best to kill them all. His father was eaten by one of these creatures when he was a small boy and he will never forget it. When he finally catches up to Miriam he doesn't realize that she is the one he has been searching for most of his life. In fact, he doesn't realize that she is one of them until it is to late for him. He was so drawn to her, he knew he was in love their first night together. To top things off she is pregnant with his child. But only one of her kind can get her pregnant. So how did that happen?
