The story is about a legal firm, searching for a lost relative who has just inherited a great deal of money. The adventure to find the missing heiress, and explain the wishes of the father's will to a spoiled ungrateful family dominate the story line. The attorney who enters the adventure discovers a bit about himself and his errors in life.
