He and Cynthia are now married. But Father Tim is still a bit shy of intimacy. He isn't too sure of being out of bachelorhood; it takes getting used to after so many years.

Father Tim is still playing Dad to Dooley, who has more problems getting along at school as usual. He's experiencing typical growing pains. Father Tim still is trying to locate the mother.

Father Tim also finds another young girl who has been beaten by her drunken father, and she is in torn old dirty clothes Father Tim and Cynthia take her in and give her shelter and peace until they solve the situation.
