Over his brother's, the sheriff, objections Greg takes Lucky home with him. None of the usual avenues, such as fingerprints, turns up Lucky's identity. The harder Greg works to help her solve the mystery of her past the more he finds himself drawn to her. Just when Greg final admits to himself that he is in love with her everything comes crashing down. After an episode of "Missing" features Lucky, her husband shows up, along with her four year old daughter.
As much as she loves Greg, Lucky feels she must try to salvage her marriage. It doesn't take her long to discover that her husband and his partner could very well have been involved in her accident, which wasn't really at all accidental.
