Morgan MacDonnel is the heir to the cheftain of clan MacDonnel, a group of thieves and ruffians, almost extinct. Morgan and Sabrina travel to his castle in the highlands and she sets about to win the hearts of his clansmen. A few weeks later Sabrina is in an accident and crippled, possibly for life. Morgan does their dirty work for them knowing that she may very well turn her back on him, if she hasn't already.
