Josie McCall has been raised by her conspiracy theory mercenary father to be a soldier since her mother's death when she was very young. Daniel has just decided that he will finally take Josie's Dad up on his offer to be a partner in the mercenary school. Shortly after arriving at the school the all heck breaks loose. Suddenly Daniel is trying to find Josie's Dad, fight his growing attraction to Josie and figure out who set the bomb at the school
Every time Josie is around Daniel she doesn't know what to do with her feelings. She is trained to be a soldier not a woman. But, she knows that he makes her feel things no one has ever made her feel before. The only problem is that he seems to always want to protect her and that is one thing she doesn't need. Daniel is bound and determined to keep Josie safe and if that means he will have to give into his feelings for her than that just might be fate. As Daniel and Josie hide from those who bombed the school they also spend a lot of time kissing and Josie uses the time to finally seduce Daniel in a turn of events.
