What they did with the Ella Enchanted movie was the best thing they could do! If they tried to make it just like the book they would destroy it. This way I hardly ever so much as associate them with each other. Normally when I see a movie based on the book and I read the book again I can only imagine characters looking and sounding the way they did in the movie, and I can't see them for myself anymore. But, with Ella Enchanted, they're like to completely seperate ideas and stories that just happen to share the same name. It was the only way you could possibly make a successful movie out of Ella Enchanted.

I think that the movie isnt that bad. Just think of it as something completely seperate from the book

You actually want to be an actress? I want to be one too. How old are you? They might make another movie. That happened with Narnia. You'd probably make a better Ella too. Anne just didn't look right.

they couldn't have made the ella enchanted any worse. i was so mad after i first (and the last) time i saw it.

yeah, i believe you did make the right choice. they totally ruined it. if i ever get into acting, and i hope i do, i'm going to ask them to do a remake cause that stunk. maybe they'll cast me as ella? lol, i doubt it.

IL didn't even watch the movie. Most books that are made into movies stink. I didn't want to watch it and be disappointed. And from people have said I think that i made the right choice.

i know!! Ella Enchanted STUNK! I was so dissapointed because I LOVE the book so much! It could have been totally awesome, but they ruined it. I like Anna Hathaway, but you're right she is always a princess. lol

i luv her books, but the movie they made from Ella Enchanted was just stupid!! i mean, come on, they could have made a totally awesome movie out of that book, adn they just ruined it. i got it as a suprise, and i was totally disappointed. anne hathaway is my least favorite actress, and have you noticed she always plays a princess, no matter what movie she's in? Well, all the ones i've seen anyway. oh, it makes me mad.

I love gail carson Levine! She is my all time fa author. I have read Two Princesses of Bamarre, Ella enchanted, the wish, All Princess tales. Almost all her books.
