I was one of the many interviewed by Mr.Michener on Dec. 2.1956 when we crossed the river breaking the very thin ice. Mr.Michener was on the other side looking at us, accompanied by a translator. At that time I had no clue as to who he was. I was very wet, and very cold and hungry.By a stroke of luck I have recently located a person, who translated for Mr.Michener on the same place and same time our group crossed. He is now past 80 years of age, living in Sao Paolo, Brasil. (I am 70, living in the USA. Praise the Lord!!!)
