Lynnette posts on 11/30/2011 11:38:40 AM Is the book A Painted House by John Grisham appropriate for a 14 year old boy to read?
Alice Jernigan posts on 10/29/2010 6:37:59 PM Skipping Christmas, why would John Grisham author a book so far removed from those associated with the law profession?

PattyOi posts on 12/13/2006 3:01:41 PM I became a reading addict this summer, never read much before and I am loving it and reading several authors. I started the Grisham books with a Painted House, have seen many movies based on his books and this seemed so different. My husband and I read it concurrently, he was a little behind me and wouldn't talk about it until he finished it. We both make comments about it often, we have both said we miss Luke and his family and friends and wonder what happend to all of them. If Ricky ever came home, etc. Any news about a Chandler family sequel? I plan to start on some of his books that I have not seen the movies.
Diane posts on 12/3/2006 5:15:56 PM What can you tell me about the book? Who is Jesse Chandler?
posts on 8/29/2006 9:53:00 PM I just finished the chamber and i've been convinced that the death penalty is a bad idea and then it hit me, in The Last Juror John Grisham seemed to be supportive of the death penalty, because in the last juror one wanted the criminel who i think was paddot or something to be killed by the death penaly. So is John Grisham supportive of the death penalty or not?
posts on 8/25/2006 5:43:03 PM Just finished Grisham's The Broker. Loved the book as much as any of the rest. Excellent research in Italy! However, he blew it in D.C. Sloppy research. In a spy meeting type scene at the Kroger in Bethesda, Md. Well, there is not a Kroger in Bethesda, Md. and I'm told, there never has been and probably never will be.
posts on 8/22/2006 5:33:51 AM LOL i'm only starting to read his books! I started reading Painted House and finished it in 11 hours LOL and i loved it. Now i'm starting on "The Chamber" and "The Client". My father told me that "The Firm" is really good. Does anybody else agree with that? Oh... and i think you can find summaries from...not sure if it will let me post it, G....oo...gle LOL. Does anybody recommend some REALLY good books of John grishams?... or (From what i've herd) are they all good?
