Brian Potter posts on 5/13/2005 7:22:59 AM I enjoyed Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The only thing I found was that the story contained too much flashback. At times I felt as though I had been left out on lots of key elements of the story. LeCarre takes many characters and has them present new information out of thin air.
hendrickx posts on 5/7/2005 6:02:43 AM I have read the book Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. An important paragraph in the book according to me is the identification of the "suspects" as Tinker Tailor Soldier Poorman Beggerman. I cannot find the correlation between this and the title being Tinker Tailor Soldier "Spy". Could someone explain this to me ? Tinker Tailor... must be some kind of song or poem. Can I find somewhere the complete version ? Herman Hendrickx-Belgium
George posts on 5/4/2005 9:11:10 PM Question: In the mini seris Tinker, ... the delightful music accompaning each episode's conclusion is composed by Geoffrey Burgon. I can not locate that music for purchase. Suggestions please. With every good wish, I am, George W.

Alden Hall posts a bold assertion on 3/29/2005 10:06:28 AM It may not be so bold, but I believe that it is from way back in Tinker, Tailor... in reference to the mole.
Frederic Manke posts on 3/28/2005 5:53:42 PM Can anyone tell me which Le Carre novel has the passage about how someone who grits his teeth and says "I hate communism" is probably already halfway in love with it? I'd be extremely grateful for someone's help. Thanks
