Very good book. I enjoyed it immensely. However, there are some parts which raise some doubts, for example, the references to KATUSAS. I was in Korea in 1960 as a soldier in 4th Cavalry Regiment. We were just south of the Imjim below Freedom Bridge. There were KATUSAS in the regiment, but they were not used as you have used them. They were an integral part of the unit. They were mixed into existing units at the lower levels and represented twenty to twenty-five percent of the regiment's personnel. They were not in separate units. For example, in the Malibu West Platoon of your book at least ten of them should have been KATUSAS, but you make no mention of it. I read an article written by an ex-KATUSA in the nineties. His comments seem to reflect my experience, indicating that the situation had not changed. Would you please reflect on this?
