Parker, who sat on the bench for the Western district of Arkansas in the late 1800s, he was a complex individual, God fearing man and the story would no doubt go deeper than a hangmans noose.
anthony roy posts on 4/7/2005 11:51:52 AM Just curious if you have ever considered collaberating with the Coen brothers on any project concerning your novels, seems to me there style of movie makeing is somewhat conducive with your style of storytelling. Also wanted to thankyou for years of great reading, they talk about Lamour, King, Straub, just to name a few, honestly no one has the skill you do in character development. Seems to me and maybe I am biased here that you have never been given the recognition I think you deserve. You have had some great characters but Augustus takes the cake. Duane is also exlnt as well do you have anything else in the works with an eastern ok. western ar. backdrop?
