Lucas posts on 11/8/2006 4:40:11 PM I'm really curious, will there be a book, about what happens in the world after the destruction of Reluce?
Ethe posts on 11/7/2006 2:27:54 PM Modesitt is one of the best authors ever! I love all of his series espsecially the Corean Chronicles.I can't find 'Order War' in any shop though. Does anyone know where I could get it?
Drew G posts on 11/7/2006 1:05:52 PM L. E. Modesitt will be joined by 5 other science fiction and fantasy authors for a booksigning at the University Campus Store at the University of Utah on November 15, 2006 from 5 to 7 pm. These authors include David Farland, Brandon Sanderson, Robert Defendi, Eric James Stone, and Josh Clemens.

Scott... posts on 10/29/2006 7:49:06 PM I think that my personal favorites are the corean cronical's... I also like the pair of cyador books. Death of Chaos left me feeling pretty shocked... almost didn't continue reading his works after that... One problem with the Corean books... I can't put them down... read the fourth book (alector's choice) in ~ 2 day's... read the fifth book (Cadmian's choice) in ~ 10 - 12 hours... Now I'm considering pre-ordering the sixth book which is supposed to be out in ~ 2 weeks... :)
posts on 7/14/2006 2:23:41 PM read recluce in the order (haha) that he wrote them. Modesitt was discovering this universe at hte same time he was writing it... To try and follow the books in chronological order would put you dealing with balances you were not ready to face... if you get my drift... there is a reason all the answers aren't given. oh yeah, by the way... Lerris is GUNNAR'S son; Justen is his uncle...
posts on 5/7/2006 6:42:24 PM Amazon says Soarer's Choice will be published on 14 Nov. 2006.
posts on 4/29/2006 2:08:34 PM I have read this series many times and it is among my favorites. I have seen both the hard cover and paper back version and have noticed that the map in the paper backs is far too blurry and is barley legible, unlike in the hardcover. I have been looking for map on-line for some time now and have been unable to find anything of quality. If anyone knows where one is and would be so kind as to send me a link I would appreciate it.
posts on 4/12/2006 5:51:43 PM Just finished "Alector's Choice" and "Cadmian's Choice" and love them. (I have all the Recluce and Songspell series books.) The book list inside "Cadmian's Choice" lists the 3rd book in this trilogy as "Soarer's Choice" and says "forthcoming." Does anyone know when that book might be released?
Anonymous posts on 2/25/2006 4:14:45 PM I have read all of the Recluce novels up to dat, all of the corean chronicles up to date and the timegod series. Does anyone else think that Modesitt has an inside view of politics today (he did spend 20 years in D.C.)? It just seems like there is something else there that i haven't found in other writers, like an inside track on the way the world works. Anyone else get that feeling
Sri_Barence posts on 2/24/2006 12:56:57 PM There is a fifth book scheduled for April 2006, called, "Cadmian's Choice," according to an "official" Modesitt, Jr. site.
