An Observer posts on 7/31/2005 3:56:50 PM I have enjoyed the Heralds of Valdemar (all of them) and I look foward to the release of Fall of Darkness, book three of the Obsidian Trilogy. Mrs. Lackey introduces original thoughts on the 'running of a country.' The ways in which she assures the reader that the characters and monarchs of her books are 'good' (such as Companions and Wild Magic) are truly inspirational.
*Vivian*:-) posts on 7/26/2005 5:36:58 PM "The Fall of Darkness" so far has no release date. The best they've said so far is late 2005 or early 2006. The info is on the Mercedeslackey page. Click on "Enter the World Of.." scroll down on left side. Don't know about Sun,Moon, and Start books:-) Love & laters, *Vivian*:-)

Kathi posts on 6/8/2005 12:53:43 PM Has anyone else looked on the author web pages? The second book isn't even listed, let alone the third. How did you find out the name, and does anyone know the publication date?
knight-mage dan posts on 6/8/2005 10:30:22 AM I was bored just recently and looking for some book at the library (not usually that big of a book reader)to occupy my time. I loved the Lord of the Ring books so I was looking for something around those lines and found the outstretched shadow(the obsidian trilogy, book 1) I started reading and found it nearly imposible to put the book down. It didn't take me long to get through that first book and start looking for the next. After a few days the Library finally got it from another branch. I just finish that one the other day and am longing for more. Can anyone tell me anything they know about the 3rd of the obsidian trilogy (especially the date of release)? All help would be very much appreciated.
Bill posts on 6/3/2005 6:09:09 PM I'm interested as well in where you found out the title of the third book of the Obsidian Trilogy. But I'm even more interested in finding out its scheduled release date!
