You are right, I thought AVP was really interesting stuff, until that moment where Predator is buddy buddy with the woman. I think if all of the humans would of died, then we could watch some awesome cat and mouse with the alien and predator.

I should have made myself more clear about what disappointed me about the last scenes of AVP. I completely agree with the predator having a moral code of not killing a much more inferior enemy (Anna, and Leona the pregnant woman). But joing sides with the humans is where I draw the line. Hell, why not have Sigourney Weaver fall in love and screw an Alien in Alien 5? I wonder how Alien fans would respond to that.

I thought Anderson giving the yautja at the end of AVP was a good idea. It allowed the viewers to understand more about how they think and adapt to other races. If you read the AVP book series, it also shows the more social side of the predators. I didn't see Anderson portreying the predator as social mushy or gushy. Also, where do people get that Anderson had sexual attraction between Lex and Scar?

i feel the same way but in predator 2
the predator doesnt kill the pregnat
woman. so they realy do have a soft side and they are realy just on a mission to become a man. but still in predator2 why would the predator clan
give the main charactor weapons after
killing their own kind? i would understand lex but not the african guy. and in predator2 the predator seemed he realy hatad that guy.

I gotta tell ya, I was disappointed by the way Anderson handled the last scenes of the movie with the Predator character. The Predator having a SOFT SIDE? come on, you can do better than that. Next time there is a movie with the Predator keep him like the original two. God forbid if Anderson makes another AVP.
