Carrol Mills Ph.D. posts on 4/5/2005 11:08:52 AM I began reading Donati books because the heroine is a responsible, strong woman who makes her own decisions. I've followed her through career, marriage, family and now into her middle age. Elizabeth is a person with a mind, but one not without her fears and failings; she is a real person who is an inspiration to all women. I appreciate that there isn't a lot of violence or sex in Donati books for the sake of adding violence or sex to titillate. These are believable stories that one could imagine actually happened, although Donati tells us that she has not always used facts of the time. She is a wonderful storyteller and I will continue reading everything she writes.
