Robert Wise's "Somebody Up There Likes Me", starring Paul Newman in one of his most interesting performances, is a haunting piece of cinema. The underrated work of both Newman and Wise focuses on the study of its antiheroic main character, the rash and real-life champion Rocky Graziano, only to trascend the boxing set-up and to reach the vast realm of human condition.
