Can someone tell me when this movie first aired on television. I have seen one person refer to the mid-70s, and I believe that's when I saw it, but that's about 10 years after its theatrical release. I think it took movies longer to get to TV back in those days, but that's still pretty long. But it may be that it was on TV earlier and it didn't come to my awareness until I was about 10, which would have been 1973.
