it seems that way, doesn't it. It was really weird, though. It makes you wonder why they did it to him. That was just wrong. (but in a way funny.)

So what exactly did Truman expect to do for a living? Perhaps he could have gotten some endorsement deals based on his celebrity status. But, wasn't he ill-prepared for life
in the "outside world"?
