A classic, brilliant film..and quite easily in stature with the likes of Planet Of The Apes and The Great Escape. The only problem I have with it, is that the character of Mercy should've been played by Nancy Reagan.

This is my favorite movie of all time! I first saw it whenI was very young and own it on video tape, and cd now on DVD. And I have two son's who have grown up watching the film with me and they also say in there word's it rock's! My oldest is 21. I still were a leather vest today as do my boy's, because as Topete's we to are Warriors! And the image looks good as my son has his own rock band 12 Guage Kiss. This is a film that need's to be past down from father to son, and so on down the the line. It teaches young men about the power of loyalty! And Honor! Values we all hold sacred as Americans.

im looking for a movie i saw as a kid it was a poast nuclear war adventure movie about 4 hot chicks that went looking for their sister i think anyways its cool cause they walk around this crazy world and it looks like the dark ages but set in the future ,theirs crazy mutants they meet along the way that try to kill them but the girls are like warriors with like swords and stuff and they like kick their butt lol they even fight these crazy roman vampires that try to trick them into having a orgy with them!!!!its the best worst movie ever please does anyone know about this movie i dont know the name

believe me,i know all the story about the
film.
but i know what i say when i talk about
multiracial streetgangs in the us in 70s/80s.
been there,done this and never going back
again.the name hatchet comes from those wild and free days.it is not another internet/hacking name for impressions only.i was a proud member of j.o.y. streetgang(if somebody knows or heard
something ,let me know).

the warriors is one the greatest movies ever of 1979.i love the 70s music in the warriors.and i think that michael beck is so cool and sexy as swan.michael beck is superb and he is so gorgeous.deborah van walken burgh is great as mercy and she is very lucky to be with swan.i watched this cool movie when i was really young with my brother.when i watched this movie i was so interested and thats when i liked michael beck,i thought he was great in the movie.now ive got this classic movie on dvd.i watch it now and i still think its a great movie.i also love the 70s music in the beginning.and i also love the song at the end.its called in the city.i wish that i could get the soundtrack of the warriors.'can you dig ittttttttt'

Hatchet. The origanal movie called for an all black gang, but the studio felt that it needed some white members to draw more people and not let the film become an underground film just for blacks.
I was a 10 years old when this movie came out, I went to the only multi-theater movie house in Spokane Wa. Fox movie house has 3 theatres. My bud and I bought tickets to Bambi or something and would go see the adult films, but never got to see the Warriors because they had Hired security for the film incase there was trouble. aparently the movie had been pulled in some major cities do to streetgangs coming to see it.
Spike Lee is the guy who started the ball rolling on a remake of the Warriors, all hope is lost! it will be an all black cast i'm sure, and Spike will no doubt make it look as if it's blacks vs everyone else.

the warriors is an awsome movie, probably my favorite and Michael Beck is SOooOo HOT in that movie omg !
