Virginia Henley posts on 3/23/2007 7:55:26 AM Danielle: INFAMOUS and DESIRED take place in two different centuries...same family, but different people. ENSLAVED is a time-travel that moves from Regency Bath to Ancient Rome. All my other books have medieval settings.
Danielle posts on 3/22/2007 4:47:43 PM Thank you so much for your reply! You're my favorite author and I can't wait to read Notorious. It definitely sounds like another best seller that I won't be able to put down until the end! BTW: I'm just curious concerning the character of the Earl of Warwick... Is it the same Earl of Warwick in Infamous and Desired? Also, I wanted to list the way my books are ordered and see if it is the correct order for all of your books, not the date they were written or published, but the era/time frame they are based within... The exact order I have them in and read them in is as follows: (1) Bold Conquest (2) The Falcon and the Flower (3) The Dragon and the Jewel (3) The Marriage Prize (4) A Year and a Day (5) Infamous (6) Desired (7) The Raven and the Rose (8) A Woman of Passion (9) The Hawk and the Dove (10) Insatiable (11) Wild Hearts (12) Tempted (13) The Border Hostage (14) Unmasked (15) The Pirate and the Pagan (16) Undone (17) Enslaved (18) Seduced (19) Ravished (20) Dream Lover (21) Enticed I hope that I'm not bothering you with this, I just enjoy reading them in the order they are meant to be in. I think my order is correct, but I'm not sure once it gets to #s 16 - 21. Once again...thank you so very much for taking time out of your busy schedule for this devoted fan and thank you very much for being such a wonderful writer. Can't wait for all of your future books..hope there are many more to come!!!
Virginia Henley posts on 3/22/2007 11:32:09 AM My next book NOTORIOUS goes on sale May 1st. It is a sequel to INFAMOUS and is the story of Jory's daughter, Brianna and Wolf Mortimer. He is the son of notorious Roger Mortimer who seduced the Queen of England and escaped from the Tower of London. A devoted reader asks for a list that gives the era in which each my books is set. IRISH GYPSY (Title changed to ENTICED is Victorian. BOLD CONQUEST - 1066 Norman Conquest. WILD HEARTS - Scotland/Stuart Era. INSATIABLE - Stuart Era. THE HAWK AND THE DOVE, TEMPTED, BORDER HOSTAAGE, and A WOMAN OF PASSION are Elizabethan. PIRATE AND THE PAGAN and UNMASKED are Charles II

Danielle posts on 3/22/2007 10:10:14 AM I'm a huge fan of all your writing and I have all of your books. I'm actually in the process now of finding the same books I already have, but with the old and original cover art. I'm hoping you could help this huge fan out.... I'm wondering if you could provide a list of your books in the order of the time/era they are set in. So far, it's been hard to find such a list. I think I know most of the order, but an actual correct list would be most helpful and I thought who better to ask than you. Thank you very much! Can't wait for your next book...BTW: Is it going to be "Notorious," releasing May 07? Highly curious...anyway we could have a hint at what "Notorious" is about? Thanks!
Anonymous posts on 2/23/2007 10:35:11 AM Dear Ms.Henley I just wanted to praise you on your magnificient writing! The first book I purchased of yours was UNDONE and I have been hooked to you ever since. I like the way you do not make the stories like all the other romance novels where everything goes perfect your novels are more life like and exciting. Can you tell me what your next book out will be and when?
Virginia Henley posts on 2/14/2007 2:11:24 PM Historical movies cost so much to make, that it is far easier to get a contemporary novel made into a TV movie
ponderthis posts on 2/14/2007 1:39:36 PM I love your books. I haven't been disappointed in any of them. I was wondering if you ever thought of turning one into a movie? I have read Dream Lover a thousand times I would love to watch it. I know the movie would never be as good as the book but I have so many of my friends say why do you read books, just rent a love story. Well, if they saw it, then they my enjoy reading again.
Virginia Henley posts on 1/12/2007 2:35:47 PM Reiko: I'm sorry, I don't remember when Doubleday Bookclub began offering my books in hardcover. It is quite possible that THE DRAGON AND THE JEWEL was the first one. All my latest books are offered by Rhapsody Bookclub.
Reiko posts on 1/12/2007 2:26:46 PM Hi Ms. Henley. When I first started purchasing your books I could only afford the PB editions but now I'm looking for hardcovers to fill my library shelves. I just purchased a copy of a MINT Dragon and the Jewel and I'm so excited about this. Are your other books (Falcon/Flower, Hawk/Dove, Pirate/Pagan, and Raven/Rose) ever released in hardcover format? I have a passion for history so I truly enjoy the indept history you dig up and place your characters in. Thanks, Reiko
Virginia Henley posts on 1/6/2007 9:21:18 AM Crystal: ENSLAVED is my paranormal time-travel. I have recently written a paranormal anthology-length story, but have no firm date when it will be published.
