Waterloo Bridge Message Board

Kelli posts a message on 12/30/2007 4:48:14 PM I just finished watching Waterloo for the first time. I'm 14...I don't really understand Myra's secret or what it was. If someone could help me I'd be grateful. I absolutely love this movie - both this and A Streetcar named Desire put me to tears by the end.

Paul FitzPatrick posts a message on 3/15/2005 3:19:53 AM Why did the leading lady consider her situation so drastic as to turn to prostitution? Surely there was lots of way work around at the time. But I suppose prositution was better paid.
Paul FitzPatrick posts a message on 3/13/2005 4:09:47 AM Principal actor clearly an American. Air raids on London during WW1 weren't like that. Principal actor wore WW2 American style uniform. Females wore late 30's fashions. Tube station had 30's art deco design facade. It was like watching a hybrid of two different eras. And I've only seen the film once and I wasn't really looking for inconsistancies.
Tony Siegle posts a message on 1/31/2005 6:54:15 PM This wonderful movie though dated and spartan features the best movie couple every portayed on screen; i.e the dancing scene in the Cadlelight Club. I have watched it many, many times and look forward to the next time. Does anyone have any idea when this film will be available on DVD, the legal way? Thank you
