I just read your book and thought is was written with such love and beauty.You gave us the reader just enough info about John without disrespecting his trust in your friendship. God Bless.

I would think that the Kennedys would have prefered that you not write this book. You should donate the profits to the various charities John supported.

Billy Noonan, just finished your book about John Kennedy, and wanted to let you know that you were so lucky to have had such a great friendship. The loss must a deep sadness for you, but God put you in his life for a reason, and I know he appreciated being your "best friend" through thick and thin. Valerie

I am sorry. I don't think any of these books about John should have been written. You and Mr. Littell take to task Richard Blow because he wrote a book about John, thus violating a confidentiality agreement he must have signed.Well then John should have had his friends sign as well. Also Richard NEVER talked ill of Carolyn. Both John's "friends" did. Very sad and no Caroline will never get over any of these books.

Billy - I hope it is okay to call you by this name as eveyone else refered to you as Bill or William on this message board.
The listening to this great true story via my ipod, about two similar but so different goals/lives of two good friends, reminds me of similar friendships that I share today.
You know, no matter when,where or how much time goes by there will be special bond of true friendships.
I too, born near the same time period of you and John (Aug 1960), have been interested from a far because of privcy purposes of the actual stories of JFK Jr., primarly because of who he was and their deep family heritage.
From your heartfelt story we are now able to enter areas where before had been off limits. The stories we heard or have read about previosly cannot hold a candle to your wonderful story shared now with all of us.
Thank you so much for your ability and courage now to share this story with us.
I am sure with every year passing, the memories are more and more entrentched and the lose not any easier because as you had mentioned, a life lost at too young of an age and too many more memories to gain.
Billy Noonan - thank you for sharing these memories with us, we too now feel like we knew these people in your book a little better.

My message is to Bill Noonan and his wife Kathleen. I hae just finished reading "Forever Yours". Unbelievable! I thank you, Bill, for such a wonderful insight into the life and friendship of you and John. Above all, I wsh to extend my deepest sympathy to you and Kathleen. That clap of thunder at the Baptism was real- just like John, wasn't it? Now he rests in the peace and beauty of a life with God, his Dad, Mother, Carolyn, brother, Uncle Bobby, Anthony etc. May you and Kathleen find much peace and joy in the many memories of John and in the knowledge that his presence remains with you.

It's July, and I've just finished reading again, Forever Young. The intimate friendship and happenings in both lives gives me the feeling of knowing you both. Tears stream when re-reding the last chapter. I too miss him and I am one of the faceless public who admires, still, the lives of the JFK family.
Thank you for sharing and giving us the truth and insight we would not have without the book.

The last chapter left me shaken, to relive it in your shoes. Life is for the living and my heart goes out to your for your deep loss!!
I hope Caroline can some day find a good place with all this, a book is a good idea! We don't lose all the history, something that would be invaluable!,
