Two men, The Employee and The Ranch Hand, are neighbours. One day, they start to fight and they are both injured by the workpiece of a farming machine. A few days later, they get out of the hospital, paraplegic, on wheelchairs. They decide to go all by themselves to Finland, 2000 miles away, in order to ask Aaltra, the manufacturer of the farming machine, for damages. They travel through Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia, by car, truck and boat, but mainly alone on their wheelchairs.
