Casanova, banished from Venice and deeply in debt, is invited to stay in the castle of his old friend Olivo. There, for the first time of his life, he falls in love. But the young woman he's fixed his choice on isn't at all interested in the old seducer's love. Casanova tries to seduce her by all possible means but fails.
