Takeshi Kitano plays the character of Nishi, a talented policeman, married to a wife suffering from a terminal disease. While visiting her at the hospital, his partner gets badly wounded during a stakeout. Nishi, feeling guilty, leaves the police force and robs a bank in order to offer to his wife a last trip in the japanese countryside. But soon yakuzas and his previous partners are hunting them.

Violent and excellent.
